Blue Eggs are the primary type of eggs found in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

In Banjo-Kazooie, they were usually just referred to as eggs, and were mainly used to solve puzzles. Although they could be used to attack enemies, they weren't very efficient, as they could only be fired straight ahead, and not be aimed. At first, Banjo and Kazooie can only hold up to 100 eggs, but with one of Cheato's spells, they can carry up to 200.

In Banjo-Tooie, more types of eggs were introduced, and Blue Eggs are the regular ones among them. Blue Eggs have the same capacity as in Banjo-Kazooie. With the help of Jamjars, Kazooie can aim the eggs while either standing, flying or swimming. With the introduction of newer, stronger eggs, the role of Blue Eggs diminished greatly, as they were only needed to solve the odd puzzle.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Blue Eggs return once more, and have a similar role as in the Nintendo 64 games.
